this morning i took my cockatiel max to the vet and he was put to sleep.

he had large, fast-growing tumors in both wings that made things very uncomfortable for him. his quality of life just wasn't very good by this point and he would bust open the tumors climbing his cage bars and bleed.

it was probably cancer, but the biopsy wouldn't have helped. but based on how fast the tumors grew, that's what the vet clinically thought was the case.
